This Privacy Policy describes how DropBeat ("the App"), developed by William Miller ("we," "us," or "our"), handles your information.

DropBeat is designed to help you track water waste. To improve the app and promote water conservation, we collect certain types of data:

• Anonymous Calculation Data: When you complete a leak calculation, the app may send the resulting estimate (for example, "3 gallons per day") to our analytics service. This data is fully anonymized and is not linked to you, your device ID, or your location.
  • Purpose: We use this aggregated data for research and marketing purposes (for example, "DropBeat users have identified X gallons of wasted water").
• Usage Analytics and Session Replay: We use third-party tools (such as Firebase, Sentry, or Microsoft Clarity) to understand how the app is used and to fix bugs.
  • Interaction Recording: These tools may record your interactions (taps, scrolls) to help us find UX issues. We do not record sensitive information, and all data is treated as anonymous.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

• Personal Information: We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, or precise GPS location.
• Share Sheet Data: When you use the native "Share" feature, the data is handled entirely by your device's operating system. We never see who you share with or the contents of those messages.

3. Data Retention

We retain anonymous usage data for as long as necessary to improve the app and maintain our aggregate statistics. Because this data is not linked to any individual identity, it cannot be used to identify you.

4. Your Choices

By using DropBeat, you consent to the collection of anonymous statistics as described above. If you do not wish to participate in anonymous analytics, you should not use the App.
